Daffodil Festival at Union Square

On the 23rd of April, the City With DoffodilFest will take place at Union Square from 11-3. Celebrating the 3 million daffodil bulbs planted throughout new York, this festival commemorates the Parks Department and the 20,000 volunteers who participate in the annual Daffodil Project by planting bulbs in parks and green spaces throughout the City. Organized to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the tragedies of 2001, the annual event has created a spectacular display of both New Yorker’s community spirit and fields of golden daffodils. The City With DaffodilFest features music, crafts, and free maps to the best places to view the stunning floral display.
