Puerto Rican Day Parade

On the second Sunday of the month, New York City celebrates cultural diversity by hosting the Puerto Rican Day Parade. Over 3 million people attended last year’s parade which honors the largest ethnic group in the City. View the parade between 45th and 85th Streets on Fifth Avenue.


Shakespeare in the Park

Experience Shakespeare under the stars at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park. Lesbian and Gay Pride March

To commemorate the Stonewall Riot of 1969, the Lesbian and Gay Pride March is the capstone to a week long celebration of gays and lesbians in New York City. Events range from pure frivolity to political as organizers host events designed to raise awareness in gay and lesbian issues.
