Restaurant Week 2007

July 16-20 & 23-27
YEAH!! Restaurant Week is back again!
Twice each year some of the best (and often most exclusive) restaurants in this City open their doors and spread their tables for a fraction of their regular charges. Participating restaurants offer a lunch pre-fixe for about $24.00 or $35.00 for dinner. You can make reservations with the restaurants directly or use OpenTable.com (link at the right), just remember that the most popular restaurants book up quickly.

Now some advice:

If you use OpenTable.com make sure that you are reserving for the restaurant week menu.

These restaurants still have their regular fare and you don’t want a nasty surprise when your bill comes.

While the set menu is a fixed price, drinks are not included and in expensive restaurants, drinks are expensive too. Make sure that you pay attention to those costs if you are on a budget.

Be realistic. Restaurant Week is a time when some of the finest and most exclusive restaurants open their doors. But because of the deeply discounted prices, generally the restaurant week menu will be limited and won’t include the most expensive things on the menu.

Be punctual, dress appropriately and tip your waiter. Discounted prices simply mean that you pay less, not that you should be less professional.
