New York City Events - April

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Major League Baseball is back! If you can’t get enough of American’s iconic sport, you already know that April brings Baseball, Nathan’s, and apple pie. While watching in a bar or on the set at home is fun, nothing beats watching the game in person. Head out to Shea Stadium in Cornona or Yankee Stadium in the Bronx to experience an all American thrill. If you haven’t yet become a fan, this is a great year to experience America’s favorite past time. New York City boasts two world class teams, The New York Mets and The New York Yankees. Rivalry between the two teams, which play each other several times a year, is fierce and fun. Tickets are available through ticket vendors, the stadiums, or through the teams official web sites.

Annual Easter Parade

A European tradition with a thoroughly New York twist, the annual Easter Parade brings the elegant and the eclectic together in what is part Christian religious celebration, part pagan holiday, and all over-the-top pageantry. Don your own Easter hat and head over to 5th Avenue to take part.
